The performance will blend religious chanting, Sufi arts, and traditional music.
The "Garam" troupe's performance, produced and directed by artist Hader Ferghali, offers a unique experience combining Eastern musical instruments, Sufi poems, and devotional songs. The event will also feature a dynamic performance of Sufi whirling dervishes, under the theme "Where the body revolves and the heart reveals." This event embodies the concept of emotional ascension and spiritual expression.
Various cultural sites in Cairo and other governorates will host a range of activities. The Agricultural Museum in Cairo will organize a cultural and artistic day as part of the "Beautiful Art Bus" initiative. The Mahmoudia Palace of Culture in El-Behira will host a meeting on the occasion of the governorate's anniversary. Additionally, a storytelling workshop titled "Naguib Mahfouz: A Symbol of Society" will be held at the Sfaf Cultural Library in Giza.
Other events include a writing workshop for short stories by writer Alaa Ahmed at the Shatby Palace of Culture in Alexandria. The Mahalla Palace of Culture in El-Gharbeya will host a meeting on "The Art of Poetry and Literary Article" presented by poet Mohamed Nageeb Al-Gazzar. In the evening, the 23rd of July Theater in Mahalla will present a performance by the Ghazl Al-Mahalla troupe for religious chanting.
The activities will continue with a film screening of "Happy End" at the Cinema Palace in Garden City, Cairo, at 8 pm. The events will conclude at 10 pm with a cultural salon at the Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University, discussing "Literature and Place: Cultural Privacy and Influence." The discussion will feature Dr. Bassem Abdel Aziz, Dr. Osama Mohamed, and Mohamed Deghidi, moderated by Adib Misyha.
