The Atababo-Mangopase-Mumuni Junction road, located in the northern part of Aiyinasi in the Ellembelle District, is being developed under Ghana's Big Push programme. The project, awarded to Kingspok Construction Limited, is being implemented by the Department of Feeder Roads under the Ministry of Roads and Highways.

According to Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the project will ease transportation challenges for farmers and residents. The area is predominantly a cocoa-growing region, and the road will facilitate the movement of people and agricultural produce.
Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah, who is also the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, played a crucial role in committing resources for the road's construction. When he assumed office as MP in 2009, the road was largely a bush path and not motorable. This posed significant challenges to the local community, particularly farmers who had to travel long distances to reach nearby towns.
Before the road's construction, farmers from the northern part of Aiyinasi had to travel through Apemanim Junction to Tarkwa before reaching Asankrangwa and Prestea. The new road has opened up the area, providing a direct route to Asankrangwa, Prestea, and Tarkwa. This has significantly reduced travel time for commuters, who previously spent several hours on the stretch.
The northern part of Aiyinasi is considered the food basket of the Ellembelle District. The construction of the road network is critical to the movement of people and agricultural produce. With the road's completion, residents and farmers can now travel easily, and the area is expected to experience economic growth.
During the commissioning of Junior High School blocks at Mandumgbane and Atababo, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for the project. The MP emphasized the importance of the road and its impact on the local community.
