The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has announced an online auction of 19 repossessed motor vehicles, with bidding opening on September 23, 2026, and closing on October 7, 2026. The vehicles are stored at various yards across Nairobi, Ruiru, Kisumu, and Nyali. Prospective buyers are required to inspect the vehicles in person before placing any bids. The bank has provided a list of the vehicles, including their reserve prices, which range from KSh 300,000 to KSh 6.5 million.

The vehicles up for auction include a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicles, such as Isuzu trucks and double-cab pickups, Toyota Hilux and Harrier models, Nissan Note and March units, a Mercedes-Benz Actros, a Mitsubishi Canter, a Daihatsu Mira, and Tata trucks. Several 2025-model vehicles feature prominently in the list, including a 2025 Tata 1216 EX2 with a reserve price of KSh 6.5 million and a 2025 Isuzu Dmax TFS87 Double Cab with a reserve price of KSh 6.4 million.

The highest reserve price of KSh 6.5 million has been set for a 2025 Tata 1216 EX2, while a 2025 Isuzu FRR has a reserve price of KSh 5.75 million. Other notable lots include a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Actros at KSh 5.59 million, a 2024 Mitsubishi Canter FE84 at KSh 3.86 million, and a 2024 Isuzu NQR 81U at KSh 3.4 million. At the lower end, a 2012 Nissan March carries a reserve of KSh 300,000, while a 2015 Daihatsu Mira is listed at KSh 520,000.

The full list of vehicles, including their registration numbers, makes, models, years, and reserve prices, is available. The vehicles are stored at various yards, including Startruck Investments Yard, Foresight Motors, Blackbird Storage Yard, and Capital Diamond Storage Yard. The bank has provided a contact number, 0711 049 069, for enquiries.

Bidding must be submitted online through the Co-op Bank vehicle sales portal at www.vehiclesales.co-opbank.co.ke. The bank will not consider any offer received after the October 7 deadline. Vehicles are offered strictly on an "as is, where is" basis, meaning the buyer accepts each unit in its current condition with no warranty or assurance from the bank.

Once a bid is accepted, the bank will issue an offer letter alongside a mandatory non-refundable bidding fee of KSh 3,000. Full payment of the agreed amount must then follow within 24 hours of receiving the offer letter, on a first-come-first-served basis. The bank will not permit multiple bids on a single vehicle, and all correspondence will be handled exclusively through the email address submitted by the bidder.

Additional vehicles beyond the 19 listed are available on the same online portal. The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has assured that the auction process is transparent and that all interested buyers can participate. The bank's move to auction the vehicles is aimed at recovering debts from defaulting borrowers.
