The Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) recently closed a five-day training session in Hygiène, Santé, Sécurité et Environnement (HSSE) for 50 young people from Boké's urban commune. The closing ceremony took place at a local hotel on September 18, 2026, under the chairmanship of Boké's first deputy mayor, Abdoulaye Mané, and in the presence of CBG representatives. The training brought together young people from the commune's 15 districts.
The training session was led by Ahmed Ben Bella Bah, CBG's health and safety training coordinator. During the five-day program, participants gained essential knowledge related to health and safety at work. They were also introduced to risk assessment methodology, including hazard identification, prioritization, and control measures. The goal was to strengthen their skills and enable them to better meet the demands of the job market.
The training was organized in partnership with the Boké City Council, reflecting the dynamic collaboration between the council and CBG on youth empowerment and local socio-economic development.
