The Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB), and Geothermal Development Company (GDC) in Kenya have announced a total of seven job vacancies for qualified applicants. The CAJ is seeking to fill one position of Assistant Director, Access to Information, based at the Commission's headquarters. This position is graded CAJ 3. The commission is a constitutional commission established under Article 59(4) of the Constitution and the Commission on Administrative Justice Act, 2011.
The CAJ is mandated to address maladministration in the public sector at both national and county levels and to oversee and enforce the implementation of the Access to Information Act, 2016. Job specifications and other requirements are available on the Commission's website. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the CAJ e-recruitment portal by close of business on October 13, 2026. Applicants with certificates from foreign institutions must provide proof of recognition and equivalence by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
The Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB) has announced three vacancies, including one Director, Accounting Standards position, graded ASB 2, and two Principal Accounting Standards Officer positions, graded ASB 5. Both positions are being re-advertised. PSASB is a semi-autonomous government agency under the National Treasury and Economic Planning and was established under the Public Finance Management Act No. 18 of 2012. The board is mandated to provide frameworks and set standards for the development and management of accounting, financial and internal audit systems for state organs and public entities.
Qualified applicants for the PSASB vacancies are required to submit their applications through the Board's recruitment portal by Monday, October 12, 2026, at 5pm. PSASB said it is an equal opportunity employer and does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process. It warned that presenting fake certificates and documents is a criminal offence. The board encouraged women, youth and persons with disabilities to apply.
The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) has also announced three vacancies as it seeks to recruit additional talent to support implementation of its mandate. The positions are Manager, Board Services; Assistant Manager, Administration; and Assistant Manager, Risk & Quality Assurance, with one vacancy available in each position. GDC was formed following the enactment of the Energy Act No 12 of 2006, after the adoption of Sessional Paper No. 4 on Energy in 2004, which unbundled Kenya's energy sector into generation, transmission, distribution, regulation and policy.
Interested applicants for the GDC vacancies are required to visit the company's careers page for detailed job profiles and application instructions. Applications must be submitted strictly through the GDC recruitment portal by October 13, 2026, at 5pm. GDC said it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged marginalised groups, women, youth and persons with disabilities to apply. The company said it does not charge any cost to process applications.
Successful candidates for all three organizations will be required to present documents in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution, including a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), HELB Clearance Certificate, KRA Tax Compliance Certificate, clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a clearance certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
