The initiative was officially presented on September 30, 2026, at the town hall, in the presence of prefectural authorities, elected officials, and representatives of traders and economic operators from the Iffou region.
The "Marché de Noël de Daoukro" is an initiative of the municipality, led by Mayor Djè Koffi Aubin, who is also the promoter and general commissioner of the event. The event is expected to bring together over 500 exhibitors and create a framework for meetings between economic actors, as well as a space for conviviality and sharing between families and different generations.
The "Marché de Noël de Daoukro" will consist of three components: a commercial fair to promote products and services, a festive space dedicated to Christmas entertainment, and a framework for meetings between exhibitors, clients, and economic partners. An Christmas tree will also be installed to offer activities dedicated to children. Mayor Djè Koffi Aubin has invited traders, artisans, businesses, and economic partners to participate in the initiative.
