On October 3, 2026, Montage Gold, a gold mining company operating the Koné mine in Fadiadougou, Kani department, Côte d'Ivoire, held the first edition of its "Sini Massa" (meaning "kings or chiefs of tomorrow" in the local language) event. The ceremony, presided over by Kani department prefect N'Guessan Brou Paul, took place at the mine site. This initiative aims to encourage academic excellence and support the education of children from nearby communities.

A total of 94 students from primary and secondary schools in the 10 villages surrounding the mine received rewards. The students were given kits containing essential school supplies, including notebooks, books, manuals, geometry instruments, pens, pencils, and backpacks. Additionally, four computers were awarded to the top high school graduates from Kani and Dianra in the 2026 session.
