The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, along with professional payroll, accounting, HR, or tax qualification/certification. A minimum of 4-6 years' progressive payroll experience in a medium to large, multi-site organization is required, with experience using HRIS/payroll systems such as SeamlessHR being an advantage.
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable tax, social security, pension, labor, and payroll-related statutory requirements in each jurisdiction. This includes coordinating timely statutory remittances and maintaining supporting schedules, confirmations, and reconciliations. The role also involves maintaining robust payroll controls, maker-checker arrangements, and segregation of duties across the payroll process.
In addition to payroll management, the successful candidate will be expected to provide professional and confidential support to employees on payroll enquiries, payslips, deductions, tax matters, and approved payroll corrections.
