The Burkinabé government has announced the second phase of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizenship Participation (JEPPC), which will take place from October 2 to 16, 2026. A key highlight of this edition is the organization of a government exhibition from October 2 to 9 on the site of the International Agricultural and Animal Show (SIAO), marking the fourth anniversary of Captain Ibrahim Traoré's presidency. The main objective of this exhibition is to demonstrate accountability, with each ministry presenting a transparent report of its actions, reforms, and innovations.
The exhibition will feature thematic panels where citizens can directly question ministers, share their expectations, and express their concerns. In addition to information stands, a cultural village and a gastronomic space will showcase the country's rich terroir and national agro-food research. This event aims to strengthen ties between citizens and the government.
The day of October 15 will be dedicated to the memory of President Thomas Sankara, and the event will conclude on October 16 with the "Night of the Stars of Faso," celebrating excellent citizen initiatives.
