The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Mobility (MATM) in Burkina Faso is taking part in the second phase of the third edition of the Patriotic Engagement and Citizenship Participation Days (JEPPC). As part of this event, the ministry is exhibiting its main achievements, equipment, innovations, and structural projects at the Pavilion of the Rising Sun of the Ouagadougou International Handicraft Fair (SIAO) from October 2-9, 2026.

The exhibition stand is designed to highlight various sectors under the ministry's intervention, including territorial administration, mobility, civil protection, meteorology, and civil aviation. Several emblematic pieces of equipment are on display, both inside and outside the pavilion. Visitors can see a bus from the Public Transport Company (SOTRACO), a blinded ambulance, an aerial ladder, and mannequins equipped for protection against nuclear, radiological, biological, and chemical (NRBC) risks.

In addition to the equipment, the stand allows visitors to better understand the missions, services, and innovations carried out by the different structures under the MATM's supervision. This includes the presentation of a collection of laws and decrees covering the period from September 2022 to September 2026, as well as the ministry's quarterly magazine. The exhibition also gives significant importance to technical structures attached to the ministry.

In the air transport domain, Air Burkina is presenting models of two Embraer 190 aircraft, as well as its services and products. The Faso Airports Company (SAFA) is exhibiting models of several structural projects, including the new Bobo-Dioulasso airport terminal, the Silure hotel, and the Dori airport terminal. The company is also presenting its ticketing service and the "Generation SAFA" initiative.

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) is presenting its digital solutions dedicated to managing aviation incidents and digitalizing airport access badges. Meanwhile, SOTRACO is promoting its services and guiding visitors in discovering and using its online subscription platform, contributing to bringing public transport closer to users. The National Meteorological Agency (ANAM) offers an immersion into meteorological observation and monitoring.

The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the ministry's services and learn about its activities. By showcasing its achievements and equipment, the MATM aims to demonstrate its commitment to serving the citizens of Burkina Faso. The ministry invites the population to visit its stand, exchange with the mobilized teams, and better understand the services offered to the public.

The government exhibition constitutes a framework for proximity between public services and citizens. It allows the MATM to concretely showcase the acquired equipment, developed solutions, and actions undertaken in its various intervention domains.
