Bosken's career began in 1984 as a cashier at a five-star hotel, where she worked her way up through the industry with the guidance of mentors. She credits these mentors as central to her success. In 1997, Bosken became Sun International's first female General Manager at the Sun City Main Hotel. Her career took her abroad to the UK and Zanzibar, where she worked as Operations Manager for Providence Hospitality and helped establish the Ycona Luxury Resort, respectively.
During her international stint, Bosken's leadership was recognised when she was named General Manager of the Year by Three Cities. Her appointment at Brahman Hills marks a return to South Africa after a decade of working internationally. Bosken was drawn to the property's values, which align closely with her own, particularly the importance of people, genuine hospitality, and creating meaningful experiences for guests.
Bosken believes that luxury hospitality is not only about beautiful surroundings but also about how you make people feel. Born in Germany, Bosken grew up in Cape Town, which she considers home. After a decade abroad, she is now settled back in South Africa. Outside of work, Bosken enjoys cycling, time at the gym, and reading. A self-confessed lover of good food and wine, she describes it as "an occupational hazard" after many years in the industry. Bosken expresses her excitement about being back home, saying it feels "wonderful to be home."
