BGFI Holding Corporation, the parent company of BGFIBank Group, has announced the launch of the second phase of its capital increase through a public offering. The offering, which runs from September 15 to October 15, 2026, aims to further open up the company's capital to investors and support its growth trajectory. This move follows a successful first phase that significantly expanded the company's shareholder base and strengthened its presence in the regional financial market.

The second phase of the capital increase involves the issuance of 1,006,975 new shares, with a total amount sought of 80.558 billion FCFA. The subscription price is fixed at 80,000 FCFA per share, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares, or 800,000 FCFA. The goal is to increase the proportion of the company's capital held by the public to 10%, up from 3.85% currently. According to Henri-Claude OYIMA, Managing Director of BGFIBank Group, the launch of the second phase marks an important milestone in the company's efforts to open up to the regional financial market. The success of the first phase demonstrated investor confidence in the company's development model and prospects. This new phase aims to further expand the shareholder base, enhance liquidity, and involve more investors in the creation of sustainable value.

The capital increase operation is fully aligned with BGFI 2030, the company's strategic plan, which outlines its ambitions for the coming years and its vision of becoming a leading African financial group. The first phase of the capital increase, which took place in November 2025, raised 45.325 billion FCFA from 7,601 investors across 24 countries. The second phase aims to build on this success and further strengthen the company's financial position and growth prospects. BGFIBank Group is an international financial group with a presence in 12 countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo.
