The municipality has also provided for fees for the erection of a tomb at home. These fees are 200,000 FCFA in urban and peri-urban areas, and 100,000 FCFA in rural areas. The conservation of a body at the morgue and its transport for burial are billed at 5,000 FCFA. A penalty of 20% of the initial amount is set in case of burial carried out without authorization.
Noisy events are also affected by the new tariff structure. The flat tax is set at 20,000 FCFA in urban and peri-urban areas, and 10,000 FCFA in rural areas.
