The Groupe K-d.k has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting equal opportunities and inclusion in agricultural training. On October 27, 2026, the group participated in an orientation workshop in Dassa-Zoumè, which marked the official launch of the network of Gender and Inclusion Focal Points (Pfg) under the Fipa project. The workshop, which ran from October 27 to 29, brought together 38 participants from various stakeholders, including agricultural technical high schools, professional agricultural organizations, and government research institutions.

The Fipa project's goal is to strengthen the consideration of gender, social inclusion, and equal opportunities in agricultural training and professional insertion. During the workshop, participants reviewed and amended the Gender Action Plan for partner institutions. Discussions focused on raising awareness among trainees, supporting girls, preventing gender-based violence, improving the school environment, and enhancing the capacities of educational actors.

The Groupe K-d.k's participation in the workshop demonstrates its commitment to making agricultural institutions more inclusive and promoting equitable access to training opportunities. As an operational partner in providing training, the group plays a crucial role in implementing this dynamic. The Fipa project is funded by Luxembourg Aid & Development and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourgish development cooperation agency.

The project is carried out under the operational supervision of the Agency for the Development of Technical Education (Adet). Through this partnership, Groupe K-d.k contributes to strengthening professional competencies in agricultural occupations within the Agricultural Development Pole 4 (Pda4). The establishment of the Pfg network is an additional lever for making equal opportunities and inclusion concrete principles in agricultural training.

The workshop provided a platform for stakeholders to share experiences and expertise in promoting gender equality and inclusion in agricultural education. Participants discussed strategies for increasing female participation in agricultural training and addressing the specific needs of girls and women in the sector. The Groupe K-d.k's involvement ensures that the project's objectives align with its own commitment to promoting equal opportunities.

The Fipa project's focus on gender equality and inclusion is critical in addressing the challenges faced by women and marginalized groups in the agricultural sector. By promoting equal access to training and professional insertion, the project aims to contribute to the economic empowerment of women and improve their livelihoods. The project's success will depend on the effective implementation of the Gender Action Plan and the commitment of all stakeholders.

The launch of the Pfg network marks a significant milestone in the Fipa project's efforts to promote gender equality and inclusion in agricultural education. The network will play a crucial role in coordinating efforts and sharing best practices among stakeholders. With the support of Groupe K-d.k and other partners, the project is poised to make a positive impact on the lives of women and marginalized groups in Benin's agricultural sector.
