The 1986 year group of Bekwai Seventh Day Senior High School, known as BAOSA 86, has donated a multipurpose sports court and equipment to the school authorities at a special ceremony in Bekwai. The handing over of the project was part of the Homecoming and 40th Anniversary celebrations of the 1986 Year Group of the Bekwai Adventist Old Students Association (BAOSA 86). The President of the 1986 Year Group, Dr Kwabena Arko, noted that sports and physical activities are part of education and that, as old students, they believed the school’s students should have these sports facilities. He emphasized the importance of maintenance and appealed to the school to ensure that the facility was properly maintained and preserved for the benefit of both current and future generations.
The multipurpose sports court is equipped with tennis rackets, volleyball equipment, and netball equipment to support the effective use of the facility.
