Avatr Technology, a joint venture between Changan, Huawei, and CATL, has recently introduced its new luxury electric vehicle, the Avatr 12, to the Moroccan market. The brand is being represented in Morocco by Global Luxury Motors (GLM), a subsidiary of the Bugshan Maroc group, which already distributes prestigious brands such as Aston Martin and Genesis. The Avatr 12 is one of three models launched by the brand, and it is a 100% electric coupe-sedan designed to compete with top-of-the-line executive cars.

The Avatr 12 boasts an impressive design, with a stately line, a sporty profile, and a fast-back rear. The vehicle features large 21-inch wheels, a distinctive "C"-shaped light signature, and camera-based rearview mirrors. The interior is equally impressive, with a dashboard featuring multiple screens arranged in a rounded layout around the driver and passenger. The cabin includes five screens offering a total of 35.4 inches of 4K display, including a digital cockpit, a central multimedia screen, and displays for the passenger and rearview cameras.

The Avatr 12 is equipped with advanced technology, including seats developed in collaboration with NASA to provide a neutral, weightless posture and reduce muscle fatigue and spinal pressure. The vehicle also features premium amenities such as Nappa leather upholstery, heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for all four occupants, a Meridian audio system with 25 speakers, and a panoramic roof with electrochromic technology. The Avatr 12 is available with one or two electric motors, depending on the configuration, producing between 313 and 578 horsepower.

The Avatr 12 offers impressive performance, with a range of up to 610 km on a single charge and the ability to recharge from 30 to 80% in just 20 minutes. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and features a comprehensive suite of active safety systems. The Avatr 12 is priced at approximately 750,000 dirhams, making it a premium offering in the Moroccan market.

The Avatr 12 measures 5.02 meters in length and features a fast-back design, positioning it between large statuary sedans and sporty coupes. The vehicle is available in several colors, including a striking "Misty Purple" shade. With its advanced technology, premium amenities, and impressive performance, the Avatr 12 is poised to make a significant impact in the Moroccan luxury car market.

According to industry observers, the Avatr 12 is likely to appeal to Moroccan buyers seeking a high-end electric vehicle with advanced technology and premium features. The vehicle's competitive range, rapid charging capabilities, and comprehensive safety systems make it an attractive option for those looking for a luxurious and environmentally friendly driving experience.

As the Moroccan market continues to evolve, with increasing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles, Avatr is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. With the Avatr 12, the brand is offering a compelling alternative to established luxury car manufacturers, and it will be interesting to see how the vehicle performs in the market.
