As Egypt enters the second week of autumn, the country is witnessing a notable decrease in temperatures, accompanied by a clear change in weather conditions. The autumnal weather is dominating various parts of the country, bringing moderate temperatures. According to Dr. Manar Ghoneim, a meteorologist at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, temperatures are expected to drop gradually as the country progresses through the autumn season.

Dr. Ghoneim stated that the weather during the early morning hours is expected to be moderate, while temperatures are likely to rise during the day in some areas. The weather is expected to be warm on the northern coast, hot in Cairo, the Nile Valley, and northern Upper Egypt, and extremely hot in southern Upper Egypt. As night falls, the weather is expected to return to moderate in most parts of the country.

The meteorologist also noted that various parts of the country are experiencing an increase in high and medium-level clouds, which are blocking some of the sun's rays, contributing to the feeling of cooler temperatures during the day. This is accompanied by a relative improvement in the weather and a decrease in the intensity of the heat compared to previous days.

The temperature forecast for today in Cairo and other governorates is as follows: Cairo is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C, while the New Administrative Capital is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 20°C. Other areas, such as 6th of October City, are expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C.

In the northern governorates, temperatures are expected to range from 28°C to 30°C during the day and 19°C to 22°C at night. In Damietta, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 22°C, while in Port Said, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C.

In the southern governorates, temperatures are expected to be significantly higher, with some areas reaching highs of over 35°C. In Sharm El-Sheikh, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 25°C, while in Hurghada, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 24°C.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has also issued forecasts for the rest of the country, with temperatures in Upper Egypt expected to reach highs of 38°C in some areas. The authority has advised citizens to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heat and to stay hydrated.
