The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council has announced that additional appointments will be made as the campaign continues to broaden its national structure. According to Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication, the recently released list of appointments is an important stage in the organisation of the campaign but is not the final composition of the council. The campaign team is still evolving, with consultations ongoing and further responsibilities to be assigned.

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate, remains committed to recognising the sacrifices made by his loyal supporters. Shaibu stated that loyalty, sacrifice, and friendship are valued, and those who have stood with Atiku over the years will be remembered. The campaign team will draw on loyal party members, experienced leaders, professionals, young people, and everyday Nigerians willing to contribute meaningfully to its work.

In the coming days, the campaign will announce its zonal and state structures, additional senior appointments, and other layers of organisation extending to wards and polling units across the country. The campaign is strengthening its policy architecture to address critical national issues, including the cost of living, food security, agriculture, security, energy, and power.

The campaign's policy architecture aims to bring together Nigerians of proven competence, experience, and global perspective to tackle urgent national challenges. These challenges include jobs and industrialisation, manufacturing and SMEs, education, healthcare, infrastructure, housing, public finance, governance, technology, and innovation. The objective is to ensure that every major national problem is matched with a serious, practical, and implementable policy response.

According to Shaibu, Nigeria's challenges are interconnected and cannot be addressed in isolation. The campaign seeks to ensure that policy responses improve the everyday lives of Nigerians. The team is working to build a country where life is more affordable, businesses can thrive, young people can find opportunities, and families can look to the future with confidence.

The campaign is people-driven and will continue to grow organically, drawing strength from Nigerians who share the desire to build a better country. There is room for every sincere hand willing to serve, Shaibu said. The campaign team is committed to preserving the bond between the party and its loyal supporters.

Shaibu assured supporters that no one should believe that years of commitment and sacrifice have been forgotten. The campaign team asked for patience and understanding from those who may feel disappointed that their names have not appeared yet. With the campaign's expansion, more Nigerians will be given opportunities to contribute to the country's development.
