The Professional Diploma in Chest Ultrasound Imaging through the Chest Wall targets doctors who have a master's degree or Egyptian fellowship in chest diseases, radiology, emergency medicine, or internal medicine, or equivalent. The diploma aims to develop the participants' knowledge and skills in using ultrasound imaging on the chest through the chest wall. This supports their capabilities in benefiting from modern technologies in examination and diagnosis and enhances the level of professional practice in fields related to chest diseases.
The study period for the Chest Ultrasound Imaging diploma is also one academic year, allowing participants to obtain specialized professional training in one of the modern diagnosis fields. The programs combine scientific knowledge and practical applications related to medical practice. To obtain the professional diplomas, participants must pass the digital transformation course, as per the decision of the Aswan University Council issued on September 24, 2023.
The application period for the diplomas is from September 20 to 30, 2026, for the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications are submitted through the Examinations Unit office at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University.
