Other recognitions received by Yusuf include an "Award of Excellence" from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its National Day celebration and an award from the National Qur'anic Memorisation Association. Additionally, Yusuf received an award from the Nigerian Revenue Service (NRS) for the state's performance in revenue generation and an "Award of Excellence" from the Forum of Islamic Secretaries of Kano State's 44 local government areas.
