The Agence Nationale du Volontariat Jeunesse (ANVJ) officially launched a training and professional insertion workshop on September 28, 2026, at the Maison des Jeunes de Kipé in Conakry, Guinea. She served as a doctor in a health center in Wonkifong, Coyah, and now works at Ignace Deen. Her testimony demonstrated that the efforts made during volunteering lead to solid and sustainable career opportunities.
Another former volunteer, Alhassane Diallo, also from the 8th wave of volunteers since 2018, shared his remarkable journey, marked by encounters, learning experiences, and challenges. He participated in the national caravan alongside Mouctar Diallo in 2018, which helped him develop a strong mental attitude in the face of difficulties. His words of encouragement resonated with the young trainees, proving that perseverance and a sense of duty ultimately lead to success.
Mamadou Macka Baldé, the Director-General of ANVJ, presented the strategic context and provided a detailed assessment of the agency's efforts. He reported that between the 7th and 10th cohorts, ANVJ deployed 850 volunteers in communities across the country, with 339 already successfully integrated into jobs thanks to the agency's support. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the accompaniment systems put in place by the authorities.
The workshop was officially launched by Ibrahim Kébé, Principal Advisor to the Minister of Youth, who emphasized the political and operational significance of this program. He stressed that the project is an essential element in reinforcing the existing system for the insertion of volunteers after their institute of volunteering.
