Senator Uche Ekwunife, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, has expressed confidence that Anambra will vote for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections. Ekwunife made this statement during a stakeholders' meeting with local government and ward officials in Awka. She emphasized her commitment to delivering victory to the APC at all levels in the state.

The meeting, held at the Uche Ekwunife Centre, was attended by various party officials, including the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the APC, Ben Nwoye, and other APC candidates. Ekwunife, also the South-East Zonal Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for President Tinubu's election, reiterated her full commitment to ensuring the victory of the APC in Anambra. She urged party supporters not to be deceived by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) slogan, describing it as a "fallacy".

Ekwunife pledged to move Anambra Central Senatorial District to the next level if given the opportunity to return to the Senate in 2027. She emphasized that her interest and that of all APC candidates is to ensure President Tinubu wins in Anambra. Ekwunife also commended other APC governors in the South-East region, including Dave Umahi, Hope Uzodinma, Francis Nwifuru, and Peter Mbah, for their efforts in promoting the party.

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the APC, Ben Nwoye, expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in 2027. He urged supporters not to be deceived by APGA's slogan, describing it as a "fallacy". Nwoye's statement was echoed by Kingsley Ezekwelu, the APC candidate for Idemili North/South Federal Constituency, who reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring a record-breaking victory for the APC.

At the end of the meeting, supporters unanimously passed a vote of confidence in President Tinubu and Senator Ekwunife. They also pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation and work collectively for the success of the APC at all levels in the 2027 general elections. Other party officials present at the event included Elijah Onyeagba, Emeka Okafor, and Dr Oby Achi.
