Aluísio Júnior, a Brazilian humorist and psychologist, recently appeared on the TV show 'Acerte ou Caia!' where he emerged as the champion but left with no prize money. He had accumulated 1,687 euros during the game and decided to risk it all in the 'Desafio Final', but unfortunately, he lost everything. In an exclusive interview with RecordTV Cabo Verde, Aluísio Júnior talked about his experience on the show, his career, and his plans for the future.

Aluísio Júnior has had a long-standing relationship with the show 'Acerte ou Caia!', having participated in a previous edition. However, he was nervous and did not perform well. In his second participation, he controlled his anxiety and adapted to the TV rhythm, which allowed him to strategize and make the most of his experience. As a psychologist, Aluísio Júnior used his knowledge of human behavior to define his strategy in the game, initially keeping a low profile and later changing his approach to show confidence and avoid being targeted.

Aluísio Júnior's career is marked by the creation of 18 characters inspired by everyday people and situations. He started creating characters early in his career, with the first female character emerging from his experience with an evangelical family in Ceará. His mother has been a significant supporter, despite some criticism. Aluísio Júnior believes that the role of a humorist is to observe everyday situations, combine characteristics, and transform them into characters that can make people laugh.

With nearly three decades of experience, Aluísio Júnior is familiar with different forms of humor, including television, stage, and social media. He started his career in television in 1998 and has since worked in various mediums. On social media, he highlights the need for speed in transforming situations, news, or jokes into short videos. In theater, the challenge is to maintain the audience's attention for over an hour through humor, improvisation, interaction, music, and current texts.

Aluísio Júnior's background in psychology also influences his work as a humorist. During his performances, he observes the audience's reactions to determine when to continue a joke or change the subject. He aims to create humor that does not humiliate or offend anyone, using his academic training to make people laugh without resorting to hurtful characteristics or situations. His thesis was dedicated to using humor as a therapeutic tool.

Aluísio Júnior is an avid football fan, supporting the Fortaleza team and maintaining a respectful relationship with fans of other teams, including rivals like Ceará. As a psychologist, he treats players and fans from different clubs without distinction. However, he admits that Fortaleza's losses can be difficult to overcome, especially when friends send memes and provocations.

Aluísio Júnior has several projects in the pipeline, including the creation of a social clinic dedicated to supporting parents of autistic children, called IAPS — Instituto de Psicologia Aureni Pereira de Souza — in honor of his mother. He also hopes to return to national television and work with Tom Cavalcante, one of his biggest references. In a future edition of 'Acerte ou Caia!', Aluísio Júnior would like to face Gusttavo Lima, Carlinhos Maia, and former player Bebeto, but especially Tom Cavalcante.
