Alisa Hotels, a leading Ghanaian hospitality group, has stepped up efforts to strengthen its presence in Nigeria's travel and corporate markets. The group participated in the 22nd Akwaaba Travel Market in Lagos, reconnecting with industry partners and showcasing its expanding portfolio of hotels, conference facilities, restaurants, and lifestyle offerings. This move aims to attract Nigerian business and leisure travelers to Ghana.

The hotel group hosted a cocktail reception ahead of the travel market, bringing together tour operators, travel industry stakeholders, and corporate organization representatives. The event provided an opportunity for Alisa Hotels to deepen existing partnerships, meet prospective clients, and present new products and services. Esperanza Adjei, Group Sales and Marketing Manager, led the Alisa Hotels delegation and emphasized Nigeria's importance to the group's growth strategy.

Alisa Hotels operates premium properties in North Ridge, Accra, and Tema, offering accommodation, conferencing, and banqueting facilities, restaurants, and leisure experiences. The North Ridge property has recently expanded its capacity for major events with a 1,000-seater pavilion. The new facility complements the hotel's existing conference and banquet infrastructure, enhancing its ability to accommodate large-scale events.

The North Ridge property has also introduced the Oasis Lounge, a new dining and lifestyle destination attached to the pavilion. The lounge offers various culinary and beverage experiences, operating from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and extending its closing time to midnight at weekends. This expansion reflects the group's strategy of combining accommodation with event, dining, and lifestyle facilities.

In Tema, Alisa Hotel Tema operates as a 50-room boutique hotel offering modern accommodation, conferencing, and banqueting facilities. The property has expanded its events capacity with a 400-seater pavilion, providing additional space for conferences, corporate functions, weddings, and other social events. The group is also preparing for the opening of Alisa Heritage, a new collection of luxury residences.

Alisa Hotels' engagement with Nigerian travel stakeholders comes against the backdrop of long-standing travel, business, and cultural connections between Nigeria and Ghana. The group seeks to leverage these connections to attract more Nigerian travelers and corporate clients while creating stronger commercial relationships with tour operators and industry stakeholders.

The Akwaaba Travel Market remains an important meeting point for the Ghanaian hospitality industry and the Nigerian travel trade. Alisa Hotels' continued investment in accommodation, event facilities, dining, and hospitality infrastructure is part of its commitment to improving guest experiences and supporting Ghana's tourism industry development.
