Algerian state-owned telecom operator Mobilis has introduced several new digital services aimed at improving customer experience and expanding its offerings. The services were launched during a ceremony at the El Aurassi hotel in Algiers on October 31. Mobilis' CEO, Chaouki Boukhazani, presented the new services in the presence of representatives from several ministries. The new services include the Mobilis Care application, MobiTransfer, and M-View.

Mobilis Care is a mobile application developed in-house that allows customers to manage their lines, check their balance and consumption, recharge their accounts, and pay bills online. The application also enables customers to discover new offers, activate 5G services, and submit complaints, which can be tracked online. This new service aims to reduce the need for customers to visit physical agencies for routine tasks.

In addition to Mobilis Care, the operator has launched MobiTransfer, an application designed for businesses to manage their communication balances and distribute units to employees. Each employee receives a credit tailored to their professional needs. Another new service, M-View, replaces the traditional waiting tone with a short video sequence that plays on the caller's screen while they wait for the recipient to answer.

M-View allows businesses to display a message or presentation to callers, and it will be free for the first year for companies under contract with Mobilis. The service is also available to the general public, with varied content offered on a dedicated online platform. However, the tariffs for M-View beyond the first year have not been announced.

Mobilis has also obtained exclusive frequencies in the 2.6 GHz band, which the company claims will enhance network performance and improve connection quality. According to Boukhazani, this band is the best available on the Algerian market and will support the deployment of 5G services. The additional frequencies are expected to increase the network's capacity to handle traffic.

Furthermore, Mobilis has launched the Mobilis Hacking Challenge, a cybersecurity competition that invites specialists to detect vulnerabilities in the Mobilis Care application. The winner will receive a prize of one million dinars, according to specific conditions set by the operator. This type of competition, known as a "bug bounty," is commonly used by tech companies to identify and fix vulnerabilities.

The new services are part of Mobilis' digital transformation strategy, aiming to improve customer experience and expand its offerings in the Algerian market. The company continues to invest in its network and services to meet the growing demands of its customers. With these new services, Mobilis aims to strengthen its position in the market and provide innovative solutions to its customers.
