The plan includes the construction of multidisciplinary facilities and the adoption of a flexible and efficient management system. The minister also announced that the government will provide support to clubs in building their own training centers.
President Tebboune emphasized the importance of completing the stadium projects on time, stressing that they are a priority for the government. He also instructed the Minister of Energy to promote the use of solar energy in public lighting across the country. The president ordered the immediate implementation of solar energy in public lighting, as well as the conversion of public sector vehicles to run on natural gas.
In addition to the stadium projects, President Tebboune discussed the country's energy sector with the Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab. The minister presented a plan to improve energy efficiency, which includes measures to reduce waste and preserve natural resources. The plan also involves the introduction of nuclear energy and the development of a program to manage and treat nuclear waste.
The government also aims to increase the country's oil production and promote the petrochemical industry. The Minister of Energy announced plans to intensify exploration and production efforts, including in the northern region and offshore areas. The goal is to ensure a stable supply of energy and support economic growth.
President Tebboune also discussed the issue of access to clean water, instructing the Minister of Water Resources to complete projects that will provide daily access to clean water for 469 communes by the end of 2020. The government aims to extend this service to all communes and areas in need over the next five years.
The Council of Ministers also addressed other issues, including the promotion of electric vehicles and the development of a national geological map to exploit the country's natural resources. President Tebboune emphasized the importance of transparency in dealings with foreign investors and the need to prioritize national interests.
