Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune emphasized that the country is moving steadily towards a point of no return in its comprehensive development path. During a media briefing, Tebboune highlighted the government's reliance on clear and precise strategies to achieve this goal. He stressed the importance of a comprehensive and integrated development that benefits all segments of society, stating that development that only benefits one group and leaves others in poverty and ignorance is not true development.

Tebboune reiterated that the goal of his administration is not to cling to power but to develop the country with the satisfaction of its citizens, emphasizing that the people are the foundation. He highlighted the importance of having a culture of power transfer, where individuals may change but the nation's foundation and goals remain the same. The President also noted that Algeria's development path has moved away from ideologies and narrow thinking.

The President discussed the importance of utilizing the expertise and scientific competencies of Algerians living abroad. He revealed that he recently met with a group of these individuals at the presidency, who expressed a strong desire to participate in the country's development and contribute to its growth. Tebboune stated that the doors of the National Council for the Algerian Scientific Diaspora are open to all Algerian competencies abroad.

Tebboune addressed the political aspect, stating that dialogue with political parties represented in parliament remains open. He views these parties as essential partners in managing public affairs. The President encouraged young people to take charge by running in the upcoming municipal and provincial council elections on November 28 and participating in decision-making.

Regarding some parties' positions on the inclusion of the death penalty in the penal code and the establishment of a high-security prison in Tinzert, Tebboune described these decisions as necessary to protect society from deviations. In response to a question about raising wages, the President reaffirmed his commitment to implementing this decision by 2027, stating that the increases will be allocated within the next year's budget.

Tebboune emphasized that purchasing power and combating speculation are top priorities, as the citizen is the foundation of development. He attributed the rise in prices of certain goods to greed among some opportunists, stressing that these actions are a crime against the people and will be addressed by the government. The President also reported that the value of compensation paid to those affected by recent fires has nearly reached 1200 billion centimes.

Tebboune touched on the issue of corruption, highlighting that this phenomenon has significantly decreased due to the success of the digitalization process, which has exposed manipulations in various fields. He also mentioned an upcoming meeting to review the scenario of the Prince Abdelkader film project before starting production, praising the historical significance and symbolism of the founder of the modern Algerian state.
