Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has carried out a partial reshuffle in the ranks of governors, delegated governors, and general secretaries of provinces, as per Article 92 of the Constitution. This move was announced by the Ministry of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport on Wednesday. The reshuffle aims to reorganize the administrative leadership across various provinces in Algeria.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of several new governors. These appointments are: Abdelwahab Bertima as Governor of Tiaret Province, Nasser Zouakari as Governor of El Kantar Province, Jamal Boujazza as Governor of Bir El Ater Province, Abdelkarim Ben Baba Ali as Governor of El Aricha Province, Toufik Daoudi as Governor of Ksar El Chellala Province, Ammar Merzouki as Governor of Ain Oussera Province, Ibrahim Oueddi as Governor of Messaad Province, Hamid Khalfawi as Governor of Ksar El Boukhari Province, Imrani Atal as Governor of Bou Saada Province, and Abd Rabhi Moden as Governor of El Bayadh Province.
In addition to the new governors, the President has also appointed Nadir Batine as a delegated governor in the administrative district of Baraki, Algiers Province. This appointment brings new leadership to the district. Furthermore, the President has ended the missions of several governors who were serving in delegated positions. Those whose missions have ended are: Said Boudalab in the administrative district of Brikcha, Boualam Allouache in the administrative district of Ain Oussera, and Adel Daoudi in the administrative district of Messaad.
The reshuffle also involves changes in the ranks of general secretaries of provinces. New appointments include: Mohamed Saber as General Secretary of Setif Province, Mohamed Amine Riah as General Secretary of Saida Province, Hamza Benzeghioue as General Secretary of Annaba Province, Abdelkader Samawi as General Secretary of Illizi Province, Mohamed Nassari as General Secretary of Timimoun Province, Yahia Hadjadj as General Secretary of Bordj Badji Mokhtar Province, and Abdel Salam Mouhoubi as General Secretary of Aflou Province.
Further appointments of general secretaries include: Othmane Mahieddine as General Secretary of Brikcha Province, Karim Amjekouh as General Secretary of Bir El Ater Province, Chakib Mahamdioua as General Secretary of El Aricha Province, Adel Rahail as General Secretary of Ksar El Chellala Province, Zitouni Boudjlal as General Secretary of Ain Oussera Province, Nasira Abd Errahmane as General Secretary of Messaad Province, and Hassina Kassi as General Secretary of Ksar El Boukhari Province.
The President has also ended the missions of two general secretaries who are being replaced. Those whose missions have ended are: Rachid Ben Youssef as General Secretary of Bechar Province, who has been retired, and Abdelkader Saadi as General Secretary of Saida Province. These changes reflect a broader effort to reorganize and refresh the administrative leadership in various provinces across Algeria.
