In the municipality of Aïn Ellem, Minister Saadawi inaugurated the "Chahid Aïchouche Belkacem Ben Lakhdar" primary school in the El Arraba area, which accommodates 335 students. He also inspected the "Chahid Douliba Ahcen" primary school in the El Maharakia area, which has 225 students, after its rehabilitation following damage caused by fires.
In the municipality of Ouled Yahia Khodrouch, the minister visited the "El Moudjahid Chahid Boubaa Hussein Ben Belkacem" primary school in the Talfet area, where he examined the conditions for students and the available infrastructure. Additionally, he inspected the progress of construction work on the "El Moudjahid Chahid Larèche Rabeh Ben Mohamed" middle school in the Harathen area of Jijel municipality.
These initiatives are part of efforts to ensure that students can return to school and resume their studies in damaged institutions under the slogan "From pain, hope is born, and life returns." The Jijel province education sector has a total of 210,964 students for the current academic year, including 106,979 in primary school, 71,241 in middle school, and 32,744 in high school.
The province has a network of 426 primary schools, including four private schools, 121 middle schools, one of which is private, and 55 high schools. The minister emphasized the importance of supporting students during this period, both pedagogically and psychologically, and noted that damaged educational institutions have been rehabilitated and are now ready to accommodate students with adequate infrastructure and equipment.
