The Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Investment (AAPI) has announced the awarding of 19 concession contracts for investment projects in four provinces. Spanning eight hectares, the project is expected to create around 1,000 direct jobs. In El Meghaier, a concession contract was awarded for a medical clinic specializing in general medicine and specialized surgery.
In Batna, three concession contracts were awarded for projects involving the manufacturing of refrigeration chambers and equipment, production of greases, paints, and printing inks, and fabrication of various types of fertilizers. The AAPI stated that its decentralized one-stop shops will continue to support project proponents to facilitate investment implementation and contribute to local economic development and job creation.
