These relations are based on a shared history and a rich endowment of common principles and values. They also praised the level of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Attaf and Moses reviewed the latest developments in the Western Sahara issue, reaffirming their support for the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination, in accordance with UN principles and regulations. The two ministers also expressed their desire to strengthen and expand the scope of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Ahmed Attaf also met with Nigerian Foreign Minister, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojokwu. During their meeting, they reviewed various areas of bilateral cooperation, including economy, energy, training, and higher education. The two ministers emphasized their shared will to revitalize cooperation and make it commensurate with the potential of both countries.
