The two ministers examined several issues of common interest, including the current state of bilateral cooperation and potential areas for growth.
Attaf also met with his Bulgarian counterpart, Velislava Petrova-Chamova, to review the development of bilateral relations and explore areas of cooperation between Algeria and Bulgaria. They discussed ways to promote and diversify cooperation to serve the interests of both countries. The two ministers sought to build on the existing relations between Algeria and Bulgaria.
Furthermore, Ahmed Attaf met with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the context of Gerapetritis' upcoming visit to Algeria. They explored new possibilities for partnership and investment in areas such as infrastructure, renewable energy, water management, and maritime transport. The two ministers also discussed the implementation of the Association Agreement between Algeria and the EU.
Finally, Attaf met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos to review the state of bilateral relations and explore ways to promote and expand cooperation between Algeria and Cyprus. They discussed developments in the Middle East and the impact of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz on maritime navigation. The two ministers sought to build on the existing relations between Algeria and Cyprus.
