In addition to education and sanitation, the commune invested in public works projects. A total of 81,803,299 DA was allocated for road and communal path maintenance, improvement, and renovation. The commune also provided 10,000,000 DA for materials such as sand, cement, and steel mesh for residents to carry out paving projects. Furthermore, 2,597,500 DA was allocated for sanitation materials for villages.
The commune also prioritized sports development, with 12,000,000 DA allocated to local clubs and two synthetic grass stadiums completed, including the Lounes Boukersi communal stadium and the Cheurfa neighborhood stadium. An additional 14,200,000 DA was invested in playground development, including fencing and synthetic grass installation in various neighborhoods and villages.
During the debate, residents raised concerns about project delays, poor workmanship, and waste collection issues. Mayor Bennadji addressed these concerns, attributing delays to financial control issues and a large number of projects to be launched, some dating back to 2010. He assured residents that counter-expertise was being carried out on construction sites where quality concerns arose.
