Africa Magic has introduced five new original titles for this month, offering a diverse range of genres and languages. The lineup includes Better Half, a relationship drama executive produced by Rogba Arimoro, and The Ten, a psychological thriller created by Lota Chukwu. These titles will be aired on Africa Magic's General Entertainment and Language channels. The new titles aim to provide audiences with a mix of contemporary relationships, psychological thrillers, and stories rooted in culture.

Better Half premiered on Monday at 8:30 pm on Africa Magic Showcase. The series follows a relationship influencer who gets a reality TV show to prove her love formula, only to have her fiancé's family secrets challenge everything she believes about love and relationships. The show features Treasure Enagbare, Nnamdi Agbo, Demi Banwo, and Tolu Asanu. Produced by Rogba Arimoro, the series explores the complexities of relationships and love.

The Ten, a psychological thriller, premieres on October 8 at 8:30 pm on Africa Magic Showcase. Created by Lota Chukwu, the series follows 10 survivors of a past kidnapping who reunite for a vigil led by a guilt-ridden head pastor, Matthew. The story takes an eerie turn when one of them is murdered, and the group finds itself trapped with a killer hiding in their midst. The show promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Atinuke Ngozi Babatunde, Executive Head, Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice Nigeria, expressed excitement about the new lineup. She stated that October's content lineup brings depth and variety, with new series spanning different genres, languages, and perspectives. Babatunde emphasized Africa Magic's commitment to creating opportunities for local talent to develop and bring fresh ideas to the screen.

In addition to Better Half and The Ten, Africa Magic's October lineup includes three new titles across its Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo channels. Sirrin Amarya, a Hausa series, premieres on October 10 at 8 pm on Africa Magic Hausa. The series blends psychological suspense, romance, and family drama, following the disappearance of a young bride moments before her wedding to a prominent businessman.

Africa Magic Yoruba debuts Afobaje, a story set in the Ekinrinade Confederation, on October 10. The series follows kingmakers who overthrew the old monarchy and turned on their spiritual guardian, Ajangbadi, whose return alongside the last royal heir forces Crown Prince Aderounmu to investigate a rising body count. The show features veterans like Antar Laniyan, Aina Gold, and Murphy Ray.

Rounding out the lineup is Onu Ahia Nwanyi, an Igbo series directed by Smart Ifeanyi Chukwu Abugu, which airs on Africa Magic Igbo at 7:30 pm. The story follows Nkem, a young woman who enters a traditional bride contest to escape a difficult family situation, only to find herself falling for the man she is competing to marry. The titles will also be available to watch on DStv Stream and Africa Magic's social media pages.
