Vice Chancellor, Prof. Omolola Irinoye, disclosed the figures during a press briefing at the university’s Senate Chamber in Owo. Irinoye stated that Achievers University had no reason to apologise for its students’ performance, citing substantial investment in quality assurance and an enabling learning environment.

Irinoye explained that the university maintains detailed records of students’ continuous assessments and other academic requirements. Students who fail to meet the stipulated attendance threshold or complete their continuous assessment requirements are not permitted to sit examinations. This rigorous approach ensures that students are adequately prepared for their exams.

The Vice Chancellor highlighted the institution's commitment to quality education, noting that it had established a well-funded quality assurance unit to monitor teaching and learning. Personnel are assigned to observe classroom activities and assess lecturers’ compliance with academic standards. Heads of departments and level advisers also monitor students’ progress.

Irinoye attributed the institution’s growing patronage to its investment in teaching facilities, electricity, staff development, and technology. She added that confidence built among parents and guardians through the performance of their children has contributed to the university's growing popularity. The institution's focus on quality education has yielded positive results, as evident in the significant number of graduating students.
