The second Loveworld Trade & Investment Forum (LTIF) is set to take place in Accra from October 6 to 7, 2026. The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss Africa's trade and investment prospects. The two-day forum will be held at the Ohene Konadu Auditorium, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). The theme areas of Production, Trade, Trust, and Innovation (PTTI) will guide the discussions.

The LTIF 2026 will examine the practical challenges facing African businesses that want to expand beyond their domestic markets and compete across borders. The discussions will cover production capacity, access to capital, market intelligence, pricing, standards, supply chains, cash flow management, and cross-border trade requirements. The program will include keynote sessions, policy conversations, investment-focused discussions, an exhibition and trade fair, and business-to-business (B2B) engagements.

Structured B2B matchmaking sessions are planned to help participants build commercial relationships, while selected ventures will make investment pitches to potential sources of capital. For entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the sessions will center on access to finance, production capacity, market access, standards, supply chains, and strategies for cross-border expansion. This will provide a platform for them to engage with investors and explore emerging opportunities.

The Accra edition follows the inaugural LTIF, held in Lagos, Nigeria, in November 2025, which drew more than 1,500 business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs, with over 20 speakers on the program. The second edition is expected to reach a wider West African audience, with about 2,500 participants anticipated from Ghana and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region. Accra was chosen as part of LTIF's expansion across Africa, citing Ghana's position as a gateway to the West African market.

A major component of the 2026 forum will be the Business Expansion Growth INitiative (BEGIN), a program of the Ministry of Commerce, Loveworld Kingdom. It aims to help businesses become more structured, fundable, and investment-ready, forming part of LTIF's wider effort to connect entrepreneurs with investors and create opportunities for commercial partnerships. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in the growth of African businesses.

The forum is open to entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, business executives, and other stakeholders interested in Africa's trade and investment ecosystem. Registration for the event is free, and interested participants can register on the LTIF website. The event details are as follows: Event: Loveworld Trade & Investment Forum (LTIF) 2026, Ghana Edition; Dates: Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7, 2026; Time: Registration and exhibition tours from 9:00 a.m.; sessions from 10:00 a.m.

The Loveworld Trade & Investment Forum 2026 is expected to build on the foundation of the inaugural edition, providing a platform where stakeholders can exchange ideas, identify opportunities, and develop commercial connections. The organizers stress that the forum is not meant to offer a single solution to Africa's trade challenges but to create partnerships capable of transforming industries, communities, and national economies.
