The Association of Corporate Communication and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB) is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of promoting professionalism and excellence in corporate communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement in Nigeria's banking industry. Established in 1996, ACAMB has been led by 10 Presidents, including its premier President, the late Alhaji Kabir Dangogo, and the incumbent, Mr. Babajide Sipe. ACAMB's President, Babajide Sipe, addressed financial journalists in Lagos to unveil the anniversary programme, themed "30 Years of Shaping Narratives and Building Trust." Sipe highlighted that the association's key achievements over the last three decades include advancing professional standards and best practices, capacity-building programmes, conferences, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

The association's anniversary activities include a tree planting exercise to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability, a Golf and Networking Experience, and a grand finale Gala/Awards Night. The Gala/Awards Night will bring together professionals, industry leaders, government representatives, regulators, and the media to honour individuals and stakeholders who have contributed significantly to the growth of ACAMB and the communications profession.

ACAMB's General Secretary, Olugbenga Owootomo, emphasized that the association has advanced standards, built platforms for learning, and established strategic partnerships. He noted that going forward, ACAMB will focus on embracing innovation and ensuring its members are equipped for the future of communication. The association's Second Vice President, Morolake Philip-Ladipo, highlighted that the association's journey reflects the power of collaboration and that this spirit will drive its next chapter.

ACAMB's Treasurer, Unoaku Temitope Anyadike, noted that the anniversary activities reflect the association's holistic values, including environmental sustainability, community development, and the well-being of its members.
