Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the AI Everything Abu Dhabi summit on October 6-7 at the ADNEC Centre. The event will bring together over 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, startups, and unicorns, alongside more than 200 investors overseeing $91 billion in assets. The summit aims to turn Abu Dhabi's growing investment in AI infrastructure and government applications into broader economic gains. The event is expected to feature over 180 speakers, including prominent figures in the AI industry.
The summit is part of Abu Dhabi's strategy to become the world's first AI-native government by 2027. The Department of Government Enablement, Abu Dhabi, is overseeing the emirate's plan, which includes bringing over 40 government entities into a single AI-driven ecosystem. The department has already implemented over 100 AI use cases across public services, with a $3.54 billion investment programme supporting the wider effort. This initiative is expected to redefine public services for millions of people and businesses.
The event will feature companies across various sectors, including chips, cloud computing, enterprise software, and AI infrastructure. Some of the notable exhibitors include AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Cerebras, Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, and Snowflake. The organisers say the listed exhibitors have a combined market capitalisation of over $10 trillion. The summit will also give investors access to a growing group of AI companies, including Mistral AI, which recently raised €3 billion in a Series D round.
The CEO of Ai Everything, Trixie LohMirmand, said the focus is shifting from the speculative potential of AI towards its application in industries and public services. Abu Dhabi is assembling infrastructure, research capabilities, and international partnerships to turn AI ambition into national capacity. The emirate is also using the event to highlight its homegrown AI research, including the Technology Innovation Institute's demonstrations of 23 research projects from nine research centres.
The Technology Innovation Institute will showcase work spanning energy, materials, marine infrastructure, aerospace, and autonomous systems. Its Falcon family of large language models is built around the idea that model performance does not necessarily depend on ever-larger architectures. Falcon-H1 Arabic, trained on Arabic-language data using a purpose-built architecture, is currently ranked at the top of the Open Arabic LLM Leaderboard.
The summit will also feature prominent speakers, including Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mistral AI, Arthur Mensch, and Founder of Boston Dynamics, Marc Raibert. They will discuss sovereign AI, new alliances, and industrial applications of the technology. The event comes as spending on AI accelerates globally, with businesses and governments expected to spend about $2.59 trillion on AI this year.
The conference will provide a platform for investors and AI companies to explore new opportunities and partnerships. With a focus on applying AI in industries and public services, the summit aims to drive economic growth and transformation.
