Menoufia University is set to participate in the 14th University Youth Week, hosted by Minya University from September 25-30, 2026. A total of 93 students, comprising 53 males and 40 females, will represent the university in various activities. The event, themed "From the Heart of Upper Egypt.. We Create," is held under the auspices of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Abdel Aziz Kansoua, and Minya University President Dr. Essam Farhat.
The 93 students from Menoufia University will participate in six main areas: sports, cultural, social, scientific, scouting, and artistic. The participation is supervised by Dr. Mohamed Shahin, Director General of Student Care at the university, along with other department heads. The students will engage in various competitions and activities, allowing them to showcase their talents and exchange experiences with peers from other Egyptian universities.
Menoufia University President Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qasid met with the participating delegation on the evening of their arrival at the event's camp. He expressed his pride in the students' participation and encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity. Dr. El-Qasid emphasized the importance of representing the university in a manner that reflects its reputation and history.
During the meeting, Dr. El-Qasid urged the students to exert their best efforts to represent Menoufia University proudly. He highlighted that their participation is not merely a competition but a chance to demonstrate their talents, capabilities, and distinctive competitive spirit. The president also stressed the importance of sportsmanship, commitment, discipline, and cooperation.
Dr. El-Qasid pointed out that Menoufia University's participation in the University Youth Week aligns with its ongoing interest in student activities. Dr. Mohamed Zidan, Acting Deputy President for Education and Student Affairs, emphasized that the university's participation in the event reflects its commitment to supporting students and expanding their involvement in various activities. The six areas of participation offer students a genuine opportunity to showcase their talents, capabilities, and skills in sports, cultural, social, scientific, artistic, and scouting fields.
