It is followed by October 6 University, which ranks 220th globally, then Sohag University at 245th, Benha University at 253rd, and the newly established Mansoura University at 286th globally. These rankings demonstrate the commitment of Egyptian universities to improving their sustainability performance.
Other notable Egyptian universities featured in the rankings include Beni Suef University at 392nd globally, Ain Shams University at 468th, Minya University at 474th, and Zagazig University at 532nd. Benha University's new campus also made an appearance at 551st globally. The diverse range of participating Egyptian universities includes public, private, and international institutions.
