He specifically mentioned that those benefiting from President Tinubu's policies, such as labourers, market women, food sellers, vendors, and drivers plying roads constructed under the administration, will vote for him in 2027.
Yilwatda also stated that the APC retreat showed that the party is "strong and healthy" ahead of the 2027 elections. He added that the party had passed a vote of confidence in its presidential candidate and his running mate. Furthermore, Yilwatda urged party leaders at the state and local government levels to form reconciliation committees to resolve internal differences and work toward the party's success in the forthcoming election.
The APC chairman commended Nigerians for their support for the party and the government over the last three years and called on party members and supporters to back the APC in 2027, saying the President deserved a second term.
