The Chairman of the Tinubu/Uba Sani Mobilisation Network, Dr. Abdulmumini Mohammed Aminu-Zaria, has expressed support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani in 2027. Aminu-Zaria stated that the mobilisation network aims to secure 1.2 million votes in Kaduna State for President Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election. He attributed his support for the two leaders to their performance in office, citing their achievements in infrastructure, security, healthcare, and governance.
Aminu-Zaria highlighted Governor Uba Sani's commitment to development in Kaduna State, particularly in infrastructure, security, healthcare, and governance. He also credited President Tinubu with supporting the governor's development agenda, noting that many projects in Kaduna would not have been possible without cooperation between the state and federal governments. Aminu-Zaria argued that the two leaders deserve a second term to consolidate their achievements.
Aminu-Zaria urged voters to set aside political sentiments and judge Governor Uba Sani by his record, arguing that four years is often insufficient for an administration to complete major development projects. He warned that a change of government could jeopardise ongoing projects, particularly if an incoming administration chose to abandon initiatives started by its predecessor for political reasons.
The chairman emphasised the importance of continuity in governance to ensure that public investments deliver their intended benefits. He noted that no government can start and complete a project in four years, and that extra time is needed to complete good work. Aminu-Zaria cited the Abuja-Kaduna road project as a major priority, describing the route as a critical link between the North and the Federal Capital Territory.
Aminu-Zaria also highlighted the federal appointments secured by indigenes of Kaduna State, arguing that the state had benefited from representation under the Tinubu administration. He cited appointments into ministerial positions and other federal agencies, as well as the emergence of a Kaduna indigene as Speaker of the House of Representatives, as evidence of the state's political relevance.
The chairman stated that the network's target of 1.2 million votes for the APC in Kaduna State was based on the group's internal assessment rather than an arbitrary political declaration. He expressed confidence that the mobilisation network would achieve its goal, given the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani.
Aminu-Zaria also noted that Southern Kaduna and the government of Kaduna State are in sync, citing the appointment of a Christian as deputy governor. He expressed optimism that the people of Kaduna State would reward the governor's efforts with their votes in 2027.
