A 16-year-old girl in Delta State has come forward with a harrowing account of being lured to a hotel in the Ughelli area of the state by a friend and subsequently sexually assaulted by two teenage boys. The victim recounted her experience during an interview with the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe. According to her, she was invited to the hotel by a friend she identified as Nice Money, who allegedly set her up with the two suspects, Godstime and Goodluck.

The teenager alleged that the two boys sexually assaulted her, recorded the incident on their mobile phones, and demanded further sexual acts before agreeing to delete the footage. The incident gained public attention after a video showing the suspects mocking the girl for visiting them while menstruating circulated on social media. The video prompted the police to take action, and one of the main suspects, Godstime, was taken into custody.

The victim narrated that she was physically assaulted by one of the boys after explaining that she was on her period. She claimed that her friend, Nice Money, asked her to visit him in a hotel, offered to pay for her transport fare, and later introduced her to the two suspects. An argument ensued, and one of the boys slapped her and ordered her to undress, leading to the sexual assault.

The teenager alleged that she was raped multiple times and that the suspects recorded the incident. She further claimed that when she pleaded with the boys to delete the video, they demanded additional sexual acts. The suspects, Goodluck and Godstime, allegedly took turns assaulting her, and she eventually escaped from the hotel while they were asleep.

Godstime, one of the suspects, was arrested and confessed to sexually assaulting the girl. He admitted to being an internet fraudster and claimed that he and Goodluck had recorded the incident because they were angry when the girl told them she was on her period. However, he disputed the victim's account regarding the number of times the assault occurred, claiming they had sex with her twice.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, assured that the suspect would face prosecution according to the law. He emphasized the importance of parents taking responsibility for their children and warned that perpetrators of such crimes would be held accountable. Edafe also confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.

The case highlights the growing concern of sexual violence and exploitation of minors in Delta State. Authorities have been urged to take decisive action to prevent such incidents and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. The incident serves as a reminder of the need for increased vigilance and protection for vulnerable individuals, particularly minors.
