On October 8, 2026, a ceremony was held at the Ali-Sabieh Technical High School to award certificates to 120 young people from the region who had benefited from short-term and modular professional training in various fields. The event was organized as part of the implementation of the Skills Development Project for Employment (SKILLS). The ceremony was attended by several authorities and personalities from the region, including the Regional Education Director, Hamadou Ali Mohamed, and the Deputy Prefect, Kadir Idriss Sougueh.

The SKILLS project aims to strengthen the professional skills of young people and promote their access to employment. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in collaboration with other stakeholders.
